The ADAS button is there on the '21 model. Of course could be a problem with the camera or loose connection.

I have posted about an issue with my BSM on my new 2021 F Type. The manual says that the system is supposed to detect a car approaching on either side at high speed and give a warning. I have checked to see if this is working while on the freeway several times and seeing a car rapidly gaining on me in the windshield rear view mirror, and the BSM never gave an early warning.
Plus, the manual says it monitors up to about 28 feet behind the vehicle and my system doesn't light up until a vehicle is about a quarter length already completely next to me. I suppose I'll mention it when I take the car in for service.

Usefulness depends on how quickly you allow yourself to be overtaken.
I STILL adjust my outside mirrors the way I was taught in HPDEs: Splay them outwards until you need to lean your head to see the side of the car.

Well, at this point there seems to be two '21 models with BSM issues. Yes, you can adjust your mirrors to aid in covering blind spots but when you have a feature like that on a new car, it's nice for it to work the way it's supposed to.
I'll be following this with interest as I have a' 22 on order.

50 years of good driving habits formed decades before all the high tech "safety" features and electronic distractions have likely saved my bacon on many occasions. The times that I mentioned having cars rapidly gaining on my right or left were probably doing at least 90 as I was going 70-75 on the freeway !
I am constantly scanning all three mirrors while driving and have learned to spot behavior by other drivers that indicated that they may present a "threat" to my wellbeing so I make sure I give them plenty of distance. I drive very defensively. The BSM feature is nice, but if it ever lights up to indicate that a car is in the spot that I wasn't already aware was next to my lane and moving up on me, then I need to slap myself back into attentiveness.
From the video I watched, 38 would be my guess too.

New R owner 2019 that has this feature and one I have on another car. It seems however that the slightest angle towards the line sets the wheel vibration off. Does anyone know if that is something that can be adjusted? Does anyone else feel this way about this feature thx
I shut off the lane keep assist feature on my 2021 F Type. I live in the mountains and most of the roads are narrow two lane, including even the State highway. So keeping my car off of either the center line or the shoulder line is difficult and the feature seems overly sensitive. I also have it on my 2019 Mazda CX 5 and it doesn't seem to be as obtrusive so I leave it switched on.

Not so much a "known issue" but something to look for if checking out used cars. Mine had marks on the engine cover that perfectly lined with marks on the hood. Given that this was on the left side of the car (facing fowards), this is the side of the engine that tries to lift due to torque. Sure enough, my car had a broken engine mount and Jag's PPI tech missed it. If the marks are there, it means that at some point in the past - or right now - the engine is hitting it. As a test you can put it in gear, hold the brake down, apply some gas, and see if the left side of the engine rises up excessively. Could be a way to get a seller to lower the price.
Learned this over the weekend: The front proximity sensors can't see low objects - such as concrete bump stops in parking lots...
Yep, I learned that one many years ago. Even worse on a lowered F-Type so I am verrry careful when approaching those infernal bump stops and I try to not get close enough to touch it.
I know someone (in a Hyundai) who drove right up to one of those bump stops with no apparent problem but when she reversed back out she ripped off half of the front undertray. It turned out that one of the dynabolts holding the bump stop down had let go and was poking up a couple of cm above the concrete, easy to miss.
The repair cost several hundred $ and she sought recompense from the local council but no go, they escaped through some obscure legal/technical loophole.
