Default Out with the old, in with the new

I've had a good run with my 2016 FType S vert with manual transmission, but my lease is up and I've moved on to the Lexus LC500. Definitely a different car, but I'm looking forward to the change. My only regrets - coming out of a manual transmission and turning in a vert in the Spring!

Special thanks to Unhingd, Stohlen, lizzardo and Mshedden. I've learned a lot from you guys over the last 30 months and have appreciated the value you bring to the forum.

Happy travels!

I'm glad to hear that you got some nominal benefit from my half-witted ramblings.

Enjoy the new ride. I hope you miss the F-Type enough that you come back. I'm sure the LC500 will provide some entertainment. That thing's got some pretty muscular haunches. There's something about that grille though ...

theres no doubt the Lexus is a sharp looking car. would love to know your thoughts on the car. my only lexus experience is driving my sisters ES300, which is basically a comfy rebadged camry

If I ever were to move from my F-Type, I certainly wouldn't be moving to something much heavier (or with an automatic). I would really like something much lighter.
+1 on the C8. I hope their designers got it together this time. Chances are, though, they'll lose the MT.

Maybe a comment for old times sake after a while. A friend has one, and it has a very very nice interior. Exceedingly well done. And some good angles. I expect you will find it less idiosyncratic than the F which is good for most folks. I know I wish mine were a little more conventional at times.
