top work sir! I’m actually saving mine for a fall project - need to heal up a bit after surgery so I’ve been confined to smaller and less invasive projects but nice to see another one complete.

Wow that looks clean. How much of a pain would you rate the install?

Looks fantastic. Had not seen it on a white car yet and was wondering what the look would be.

not too bad, i'd give difficulty level at 6. just alot of removing screws and you definitely need another pair of hands to help.
It also took me longer to complete the work than it should've since I kept on changing the color I wanted the grille surround. I initially sprayed it with satin black but after a couple of days it wasn't doing it for me so took bumper back off and sprayed it with gloss black but again after a few days, I wasn't happy I never wanted glossy don't know why I even tried it. So I decided to wrap the surround and finally after trying a few different shades of black/drk grey color wraps, decided on the go with color you see (for now), it was the closest shade of black or dark grey I had in my head that I wanted.
Also did the side vents and part of the hood vents the same color as the grille surround.

That looks great! Of course we all already know that. Problem is, the more of them I see, the more I can't get it out of my head. What are we looking at for total costs on average for this across the group?

bcbruno - Some states in the US require front plates, and some don't.

Something the unenlightened powers that be in the UK insist upon.

The Sto’N’Sho bracket works when a front plate is absolutely needed, and takes 2 seconds to remove by pulling a pin when not.

Where did you get that plate? Is that a legal front plate?

licenseplates.tv.
No, not technically legal, but I’ve had the popo look at them closely a couple times to confirm the same tag# on the rear plate. They do contain the proper info (tag number and state of registration) and the font is larger than state issue.
The only risk is a $50 fine.

Hey Lance, can you measure for me the gap from the bottom edge of your plate to the ground?
I'm thinking of getting a P7 grille and a StowNShow (no other easy and clean way I can see of fitting a number plate to a P7 grille) but there are stoopid rules here about this clearance.
I think the minimum height/gap is 30 cm / 300 mm but I'm still trying to find the rule, and if your gap is less than whatever that rule says then I am screwed (add 5 mm for your lower front end but subtract 5 mm for my skinnier number plate so it's a wash).

Nowhere in the right time zone. 160mm to the bottom of my plate frame. You’d have to either use a tow hook plate bracket (offset plates look bad on an F-Type) or mount the plate directly to the grille honeycombs with tie wraps.

Thanks for that.
I found the rule and it is 300 mm, so I'm screwed.

I never get tired of looking at that. That really is the way the car should have been from the start.

Where did you buy the grill? Or did you make it?
