Unhingd has a P7 grill and a euro-style front plate, you might ask him. Somewhere, I have a picture of that, but I haven’t located it yet.

I guess there must be a OEM jaguar part for this.

Also, kudos to the effort.

According to @Unhingd ,

"I have the OEM P7 grille and surround on the car and the Sho n' Sto license plate bracket. Jaguar did not offer a front license plate mount for the P7."

The surround from Aliexpress (CF version) is actually really decent. It comes with some crappy plastic mesh that looks cheap IMO and so mcphill desire to make a version that is quality and would work with this surround makes sense, seeing as the cost difference between the Aliexpress version and the original P7 (which is long out of stock) is significant.

Thanks to Mike for trying to get this figured out for us, as I was not able to take on this project myself as I originally tried to do.

Hard to believe, the car has been selling in EU market and you have to have a holder by law. Therefore it must be some sort of jaguar solution for this IMO.

Harry Metcalfe (of Harry's Garage) seems to have a plate on his P7. 22:15 in.

Just got the AliExpress Surround scanned in. Placed it roughly in the right place in the model with the true P7 Grille:

Lookin good!

Looks good but I'm trying to visualize how you're going to accomodate the tow hook (which I would want) and the front parking sensors (which I wish I had) without destroying anything.
Spending $1K on a grill (plus installation) is one thing. Intentionally busting it up to get it on a flatbed if you have a breakdown is a genuine concern.

Planning a hole and ring (for aesthetics) for the tow hook. For the sensors just need to add the mount geometry, easy peasy.

The Harrys number plate mount looks weird. It seems it is attached to the mesh, and I cannot imagine this would be OEM since the force to that plate doing 200 mph must be quite large to be hold by that grille

I’m interested as well, and would also want to retain use of parking sensors. Haven’t thought much about the tow hook, but seems like a sensible consideration.
