Probably something that has been discussed elsewhere, but here is what occurs all the time with my 2018 and wanted input as to whether this seems correct:
Pull up to a stoplight/sign with a vehicle in front and more than one car length between us...no beep and no screen warnings. A vehicle comes to a stop behind me fairly close and a beep sounds and the screen shows a potential hazard (by way of a colored bar) in the right front quadrant. Why would the warning be for the right front when the only event that triggers the warning is a vehicle in the rear?

 

That sounds very strange. I don't have parking sensors in my F-type, but I do in my 2018 XE, and they never come on in traffic.

 

Yeah that's not right for a few reasons. First it shouldnt come up in traffic anyway - it should be disengaged when you go over 10kph and only re-engage when you put the car in reverse or switch parking aid on. Second the warning beep and screen indicator should be for the area where the danger is. I'd take it in and get it looked at. I did have issues with mine going a bit mental when the car was new, it was fixed in a service.

 

Mine never come up in traffic either
