The reverse parking aid on my 04 S stopped sounding...
is there a reset or fuse?

I'd imagine the parking aid is tied to a fused curcuit but not sure which one or if it has a separate fuse of its own. Beyond the fuse there are only a few components to the system:

1) The reverse switch in the shifter
2)The Sensors located at the rear bumper
3)The speaker that gives the audio alert locacted in the package shelf
4) The park assist aid module located in the tunk (Boot) in the spare tire well.

I guess you need to throw in there all the wiring that ties the components together. I'd look for a problem with the reverse switch first. Anything get banged around in the trunk? Check for broken wire to the speaker or damaged wiring to the module. I don't think all 4 sensors in the bumper would all go badbut again could be a wiring issue.

Poke around and see if you can find something in those items. Good luck!

 

check for failure codes at dealer no one else can get these certain codes... also check the module it to left of the spare for water damage...

 

A shop with an Autologic can pull those codes as well as the dealer. I believe there are a couple in Honolulu.
