Default Passenger window auto up not working

Both the driver and passenger switches for the passenger window do not function for auto up. Everything else is okay. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you recently disconnect your battery or take the car in for service? Sounds like you just need to reprogram the windows. Super easy..

Your switch has 5 positions. We'll call them:
"-2" which is the switch all the way down for automatic down
"-1" which is the switch slightly down for bringing the window down manually
"0" which is the switch just sitting on its normal position
"1" which is the switch slightly up for bringing the window up manually
"2" which is the switch all the way up for automatic up

The reset procedure is very simple:
-Turn the car on; without turning on the engine. Basically push the engine start stop button without pushing the brake pedal
-Shut the radio off and other source of noises, you are going to be looking for a little "click"
-Hold the switch of the window you wish to re-teach the limits in position "-1". Even after the window is all the way down, keep holding it and listen for a little click. When you hear it go to the next step.
-Hold the switch on position "1". Again, even after the window is all the way up keep holding it and listen for a "click".
-Repeat for all windows and you are all set!

These are the instructions from the MY2016 owner's manual:

WINDOW RESET
The windows will need to be reset if the battery is disconnected, becomes discharged, or the power supply is interrupted.
Once the power supply is restored, reset the windows as follows:
1. Close the window fully, and release the
switch.
2. Lift the switch to the close position, and
hold for 2 seconds.
3. Repeat this process a total of 5 times.
Test the window, to check that one-touch
operation is working correctly. Repeat the
process for the remaining window.

Sorry, but this didn't work. Read original post -- it is only the passenger window auto up that won't function and this occurs with both the passenger switch AND the driver's side switch for the passenger window.

Sorry Lance, but this didn't work. Read original post -- it is only the passenger window auto up that won't function and this occurs with both the passenger side switch AND the driver's side switch for the passenger window. All other windows' functions work fine. Just think it is strange.

I too have had this issue on just one window. What I do is ignore the instructions:
Turn on ignition (engine off).
Depress and hold button to lower window and continue holding for a few seconds after window is all the way down.
Lift and hold button a few seconds after window is all the way up.
Repeat process several times.
Eventually, this works.

In your case, if it does not, time for the dealer to look at it, unfortunately.

That process worked for me as well.

Tried it just now for six cycles but still not fixed. I guess it's off to the dealer.
Thanks all. Will post the outcome/fix in a few weeks.

I recently had problems resetting the one-touch up (several battery disconnections for a completely unrelated reason), sometimes the instruction posted by Lance (Unhingd) worked, but most times it didn't. But what worked every single time was to follow that instruction while driving, go figure!

This thread saved me from troubleshooting a non-problem.

Driving around didn't help either so will take to dealer and report back.

Took car in for second year anniversary. Just got the oil change at $336.46 Cdn. as only have 19.8K Km. I refused the 52Km service and they noted that.
Got the K309, 405, 410 and stereo update done.

The window problem was due to leaky seal at top right roof line. This allowed water to get behind and to pool near some electrical components way down below. There was a "code for lin bus fault at the voltage quality control module". They sealed it up and dried out everything, and window works fine.
