Default Performance seat sag

Find it strange that my S type with the performance seat option have a deep sag in the leather of the driver's bottom seat cushion. With 325 miles on it and my weight of
150 lbs,I wouldn't expect this to happen. Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks.

How old is your car? I'm 6'3 and weigh about 250lbs and my seat looks new, 15000 miles later. Depending on the age of you car, Jaguar has what the call an "adjustment period" 1 year or 12000 miles which covers trim and wear and tear items.

+1, something does not seem right.

I have the performance seats in my 2015 and just turned 10K miles, the seats are like brand new; very tight.

And 5' 10" 200 lbs.

+1.
2014 coupe with a bit under 20K miles, 6'0" and 220 lb, and no sag at all.

A little 'give' in the leather is normal, however it sounds like the leather has stretched a little too much or possibly the foam bolster has compressed out of shape.

Have you used any 'products' on them?

If you speak to a reputable dealer they will run a steam wand over it which should make the leather contract again.
Alternatively, a microfiber cloth soaked in water, wrung out and warmed in a microwave slightly will help bring them back...

Well, that's the issue. You need a much wider *** to distribute the weight.

That is just how the bottom cushion looks in my 350 mile car. Weak cows in
the mother country?

im wondering if it's a skinny person problem. I'm also on the light side (6'1" - 168) and I've noticed this occurring around the 4K mile mark.

That's funny!

Re-hydrate the covers with simple H20 on a microfiber cloth - NO PRODUCTS!

...or let the dealer steam them. Either way the covers will tighten as they loose their hydration.

It is odd for such a new car. Strangely enough I am fixated on the stretching of the seats, but that is because I want it to stretch as it makes the ride hugely better (even though it doesnt look so good). I specifically looked for a low km used or a demo to get one which had been broken in by someone else's ****.

But on the upside, it is probably absorbing the bumps nicely. To test, get someone else to drive the car and sit in the passenger seat. If it is less comfortable than the driver's seat, I'd be happy with the state of affairs. If not, then it might be that the foam under the seat is no good, so I'd have it looked at.

I'm using a gelfoam pad and it seems to be distributing my skinny *** just fine at 1100 miles...
Good luck & let us know how it turns out.
