Default Personalized Plates

Just recently received an email that TX was releasing a new plate and was taking preorders for 7 character plates. (6 letters are the standard here)

After finding many "cool" plates were already taken or not worth of DMV standards, I finally found one that I think fits the F-Type...

"RAUCOUS"

The plates should be here about the same time as the Jag. I can't wait!

Haha I actually just got my plate but I had to go from JAAAAAG to JAAAAG due to the design I chose which is all black with an emblem on the right side. So only room for 6 chars.

Hah, I have just ordered mine, but I'm cheap so I went with the 4 letter 2 number combination.

Mine reads

JA44AG

Expecting my plates any day. 5 letters allowed because of the symbol on the left. However, as you can see, the symbol is a Jaguar. The plate is issued in support of the Jacksonville Jaguars team but I will cover the Jacksonville Jaguars name at the bottom of the plate with the license plate holder which will leave me with what you see in the picture.

You should have gotten "BUICK" or "IM BUICK" or something like that to confuse people.

Should have is right...they can't tell it's a Jag as it is so it might as well be a Buick, lol!

A previous thread had all sorts of personalized (what some call vanity) plates, but the ONLY one which I had any interest in - and which was available here in the Great State of Maine - was:

F15

F15 is also still available here (just checked).

I keep lobbying for EFFME but "the executive" keeps overruling it.

I also just checked and it's still available here. I'm not really the vanity-plate kind of guy - not that there's anything wrong with that - and, besides, I actually love the [free] plate which I luckily happened upon:

212 UN

212 representing my old area code from NYC and UN just looks kinda cool I think. (The more I think about it, the more I think F15 is VERY cool. Not that I plan on getting it).
