I'm used to seeing other cars that do not try to match tire circumference (and use different size toner rings or programming to deal with it). I didn't know Chevy did that with the Corvette. Seems to me a 1" taller sidewall on the front (which is visually significant) would look strange, but the only Corvettes I spend time looking at are the C2s. I see people put taller tires on the front of various cars at local gymkhana events for better control while drifting, and it looks strange.

And someone went to the trouble of aligning the centre caps with the tyre valves (chin of growler pointing at valve)!

I believe because I just signed up for the forums, I am unable to send a PM yet, but I am curious if your wheel setup is still for sale?

I cannot PM you either. Sale pending -- I have someone potentially picking the wheels up some time this week, but can keep you posted.

Looks Great! I especially like the little slot details in the spokes, and the concavity of the rear wheels

Thanks! It's definitely a huge departure from the all-black theme I had going, but I think I'm getting used to the new look.

Here's a "prettier" picture aka not in a messy garage.

For those looking for purchase custom spec'd wheels in the future, I want to provide some insight on some challenges that I've bumped up against when trying to install a small wheel spacer, 3mm, on newly forged wheels.

Situation:
I ordered BC Forged wheels in a fitment that was 5mm more conservative than I had prior to prevent rubbing, etc. I placed the order this way thinking I could fine tune the fitment with spacers, 3mm in my case.

Problem:
When I installed the wheels fresh out of the box, I noticed that without spacers, I could only turn the lug nuts 7 turns before reaching full torque spec. This equated to a massive problem given that with a 3mm or larger spacer, I'd only have a few threads of engagement which is obviously a big issue.

Potential Solve:
My next thought was to install a spacer and use extended threaded lug nuts. Picture below. This allow for deeper engagements with stud threads.

Problem #2
BC Forged drills the lug holes 14.5mm wide and the extended thread lug nut sleeve is 15.24mm. Let's call it 16mm. The only way to get around this would be to have a machine shop drill out the wheel lug holes to 16mm which is exactly what I ended up doing. (Quite common in the Audi and Mercedes world since some use 12x1.5 and others use 14x1.5 studs)

Solved.

For those ordering wheels in the future:
I would request that your lug stud holes are drilled to 16mm to accept extended thread studs so you guys don't have to go through what I did. With the extended threaded lug nuts and a 3mm spacer, I'm able to turn the lugs nine turns which leaves me plenty of room to rub just about any spacer I would like to.
