If only it were the much lighter shade of non-metallic "British Racing Green" I remember from the E-Type and other British makes, then I would have been all over it with a camel interior and top. But alas, the color on the regular F-Types is a much darker metallic and appears almost black except in very bright light.
It's not a bad color, it's just not the legacy "British Racing Green." If that's the same color on the Project 7, I'd go with any of the lighter colors over that--either the blue or red.

well 110 minutes and counting before the decision is made
the red is a solid colour which is a shame as if it was metallic I may have leaned more toward that
what Ive learned from Jaguar that its actually BRG and black that are proving to be the most popular with the red the least (this is from whats being ordered)
Pretty sure that the whole Blue thing stems from the Scottish racing team Ecurie Ecosse from the 1950's which had (darker) blue cars with white nose cones - the blue and white being the colors of the Scottish Flag. Add Ian Callum being a Scotsman and there you have it (which is why the prototype is blue).

Interesting, but I suppose not surprising with the popularity of metallic colors these days. However, as a car that makes no apologies for being a retro-version of an historic old Jaguar race car, the solid colors just seem more appropriate to me making the solid red all the more appealing. From other pictures I've seen Caldera appears to be a classic deep red.
I'm obviously biased but I wouldn't have an F Type in any colour other than British Racing Green. It is a *superb* color, particularly in the light where it truly pops. Of all the compliments I get about my car, a significant proportion are about the colour. Those pics do not do this color any justice. It is fantastic.
