Project 7 and F-Type cutaway display @ Laguna Seca...
Really cool pictures!
If you're going back, could you ask them how maintainable that single-piece aluminum construction is? I like the idea of the construction, but I've always wondered how complicated it'd be if the car (touch wood) takes a hit. The impact would propagate down the aluminum structure, and with all the glue, honeycombing and rivets it looks like it might be REALLY expensive and technically difficult to fix these structures.

I agree...there all wknd so will do!
I'm guessing the Project 7 will be at Laguna tomorrow and since our group (Can-Am) doesn't run until Sunday, tomorrow's a freebie day for me to just soak in the sights and sounds...woo hoo!

Got to the Jag Corral late and met Roland Qunitero who I've emailed before and is with the Jaguar Associate Group, very nice guy and sorry that I missed a chance to talk with Ian Callum who was there, I would have told him what a beautiful job he did on the F-Type...but he said everyone was telling him that,lol...anyways, here's some pics of Project 7:
Totally agree with you on a valiant but unconvincing answer from Roberto.
The single piece construction and the extensive use of aerospace glue sound really hard for an average technician to work with.
Looks like you guys are having a really great time out there!
