Question about ride
Which would have a softer, more comfortable ride at moderate speeds, the base with 18 in tires and the standard sport suspension or the S with 19 inch tires and the adjustable sport suspension set on the softest mode?
Based upon dozens and dozens of comments here over the last couple of years, the S w/ 19s and set to the "least sporty" suspension setting provides a softer ride. The base sport suspension is very firm all the time. I also switched from 18" to 20" tires/wheels on my base, which didn't make a significant difference in terms of ride comfort.
Adjustable suspension that comes with F-Type S and up is rather comfortable in everyday driving. It isn't Buick-like cushy, but certainly nowhere near punishing ride you'd expect out of performance car.
+1 Agree with SinF.. I was going in expecting a stiff ride, but the ride in my S is extremely comfortable. In fact is more comfortable than my luxury SUV's that I've had.
