Default Question for Convertible Owners

I went to clean the inside of the back window on my car and discovered I couldn’t get to it easily because the wind deflector was in the way. I have read that the deflector can be removed, but have not found specific instructions as to how and I fear breaking it. There is nothing in the manual that I could find.

Anyone figured out the best way to remove the wind deflector?

1. Push the wind deflector down slightly (push it down to the ground). It's spring loaded.

2 There's a thing on the rails holding the wind deflector in, on the right and left sides, that you push towards the seat to release it. Once you release it the springs will automatically push the wind deflector out from the rails.

Google around you should be able to find a picture.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what I was looking for. I don't know how I overlooked the instructions in the "sticky" but I did. I appreciate the help!
