R Coupe order is final - is it time to Celebrate!!!
Hi all.
Been lurking here for weeks and thought I'd finally break the ice.
Today was my final amendment date for a production F-Type due to be delivered early November.
Thank You to everyone for all the great input contained in these pages, much of which has helped guide a number of my final decisions. See below...
At last, the real waiting begins.
Can hardly contain my excitement...
p.s. @PD2911, great last-minute change, going with the Orbits!
I'll be sure your quickly forgotten silver tornados have a good home.

Strange. The last date for changes to my order was early July*, but it still didn't feel 'real' somehow. The time since has gone quickly though.
As to when it will finally feel 'real', I'm thinking that will be when I sign the paperwork to get it registered.

Strange. The last date for changes to my order

The Dealers say it will be built 10th September.
So conservatively, I should have it by 20th September.
Yet to see anything on paper though, so I'm staying calm while sharpening the stake...

Update:
As mentioned above, the unconfirmed build date was to be the 10th (week tomorrow). When this was confirmed (and the VIN allocated), the dealership would call me to sign various bits of paper, with the balance of the purchase price to be paid on collection.
They called today to ask when I could stop by and sign the paperwork - as the car had just been delivered.
It's going to be a distracted remainder of the week...
