Both rims had chunks missing the front lost air the front bumper was scratched and all along the side door took it the hardest with bare Aluminium showing and not much else.
It was taken to a body shop the insurance company recommended after 5 days I learned they don’t do aluminum body repair so insurance had it towed to a second body shop recommended by my dealership. It was there almost 2 weeks and it seemed like everything would be fixable to everyone that saw it.
Once up on the lift it was measured in an X from a fixed point to the steering knuckles and it was determined the right was an inch back meaning suspension damage. On the third week I visited the body shop and saw it in the dissembled state many parts piled on the seats and in the open rear. I got a call 2 days after my visit and got to speak to a total loss representative. Sorry all those Pictures are Stuck in the cloud at the moment they don’t want to come down.

Yes my right elbow was bruised from the arm rest. The noise of the crash sure was loud. Mountain driving is just about all I do this turn makes the long left then a sharp right after a turnout where I stopped to look for the first time. I was able to drive it home the last 2 miles on a flat PZero held on under 30 mph. I could feel steering a little different once it was out of air. My insurance company paid my bill with the finance company Today. They got $75k

Default SvR

The same day I learned of the loss I found this replacement car. The finance company did get paid off with the total amount issued they might send me a check for a few extra bucks, but my misfortune turned into my luck.
This car had just been traded out of a private collector garage. I had to wait a few hours while they replaced the battery the collector’s failed to use a battery tender. while I was waiting for the part nobody had driven it. I was concerned my insurance might go up it actually went down being a year older. The R payments were a thousand dollars higher than the SVR thanks to a much larger down payment I had Saved from another deal.

Awesome recovery. How does the SVR feel over the R?

May I suggest a high performance driving school before stretching the legs of your SVR?

a few different things the steering wheel is round at the bottom and the grip is slightly smaller Diameter. the infotainment screen is different. The R would automatically make shifts from D with paddles then return to D in a few minutes the svr needs the shifter to be pulled Into S to use them. The spoiler on the R really blocked rear view the svr spoiler doesn’t as much. The alcantra material on the dash looks nice. The front and rear have so many different surfaces to clean.

Check the Vehicle Settings menu - there may be an option to allow paddles in both D and S (that's how it is on my R).

The steering wheel is smaller and not flat bottomed? How much smaller, because I hate the giant steering wheel I have in my R. Looking to change it up.

Default Different things

The other thing I like is the headlights move with steering movements a hard turn an additional light comes on the inside. My R had none of that.

That'll be the adaptive headlights with cornering lights. I had them on my previous XKR, but not on my F-Type. Don't really miss them, apart from the "how cool is that" I get from my passengers!

Agreed...have them on my V6S, and they’re cool, but not really needed.

I actually like adaptive headlights. As there is a sharp corner pulling into my neighborhood, it is nice to have it illuminated while turning.

The grip is a smaller diameter the R felt like it had a steering wheel cover by comparison.
SVR option wheel might be cheaper than trading cars like I had to.
