my f type has the highest mileage being a daily, and at 20k km there’s so much pad thickness it’s not even a concern - though I don’t track the car
I’ve only ever replaced carbon pads on my earlier first and second gen ccb cars as newer improved versions were released - first gen like on my cgt and slr in that early to mid 2000’s had cold bite and noise issues, and that was predominately the pad tech at the time
like I said above, jags ccb application is extremely good, there’s no noise, no pedal feel or cold bite issues, they feel like a regular steel brake setup
i have the ccb option on my Alfa giulia, a newer application and they feel like an old school ccb setup where it’s tricky to modulate brake pedal travel at the last 5-0km/h
