i have many 10 year + old supercars with first gen ceramics and original pads and they’re fine, pads don’t deteriorate with age

gotta appreciate the hustle though
is it common for Brembo CCB pads to last 60k+ miles? I was preparing to replace mine Around 20-25k miles, with three or four track days in there.

tbh I have no experience at that mileage, I’ve never done that in any of my cars

my f type has the highest mileage being a daily, and at 20k km there’s so much pad thickness it’s not even a concern - though I don’t track the car

I’ve only ever replaced carbon pads on my earlier first and second gen ccb cars as newer improved versions were released - first gen like on my cgt and slr in that early to mid 2000’s had cold bite and noise issues, and that was predominately the pad tech at the time

like I said above, jags ccb application is extremely good, there’s no noise, no pedal feel or cold bite issues, they feel like a regular steel brake setup

i have the ccb option on my Alfa giulia, a newer application and they feel like an old school ccb setup where it’s tricky to modulate brake pedal travel at the last 5-0km/h
