Rain Mode
obviously the wet mode is designed to help with breaking traction while accelerating, but are people finding the P-Zeros to be problematic with cornering or braking when it's raining? They have a pretty good wet rating on tire rack.
Never tested the P-Zero with higher speed cornering and braking while raining. I know the P-Zero can break loose from a stop when raining. I always use rain mode when road is wet. Don't want to test my driving skills. Rain mode makes the F-Type feel like Toyota Camry.
Now I'm curious because a lot of people call it rain mode. In my market the button has snow flakes on it, and it's referred to as winter mode. Does this vary regionally? Is it the same thing?

Maximum wet traction with the p-zeros might be good, but when they let loose, it's like falling off a cliff. The PSSs will give you plenty of notice they are on the edge and will give you the opportunity to reign things back in again.
Yep in this car the PZeros let loose fast and unpredictably. I have had several hairy experiences including having the back overtake the front on a suburban road with only moderate acceleration in the wet.
I finally used the Rain / Snow mode. It's fascinating. It turns the car into a Hyundai. I joke I joke... but it's obviously drastic.
What sort of weather are you actually using this? Heavy downpour, or even when the roads are wet? What speeds are you driving on wet roads in these p-zeros?

Might be useful on snow and ice, but not much else. When the roads are plenty wet I leave in normal mode, but in fair weather use TracDSC when I'm in the twisties. I can't speak for the p-zeros, but at legal (or slightly more) speeds,no need to throttle back on the PSSs in the rain except in tight turns.
rain/ice/snow mode optimizes stability of the vehicle
to suit low-grip conditions. This helps the vehicle to
perform in a more gentle and controlled manner to
avoid skidding, allowing more confident progress
under adverse conditions.
Rain/ice/snow mode as part of the dsc uses:
• modified slip-control system map for braking
• decreased throttle progression
• early transmission upshifts
• softer damper map (adaptive damping variants)
