Default Re-setting service due message

The vehicle I bought had a service just before I bought it, but as it was not a JLR dealer, I'm guessing they didn't know how to reset the indicator.
Vehicle currently has 7200 miles, and the service was done at 6800, now I'm getting the service due soon message.
Do I need to take it to a JLR dealer to get reset, or is there a recommended scanner I can buy which will reset the system ?
Thanks in advance !

does anyone know how to reset the Service Due Alert on the Jaguar Remote App on the iPhone? I have called both my service advisor as well as Jaguar's Incontrol help and nobody has a clue.

Mine went off at about 2000 miles and was given two options. Reset it now and it will be off for the life of the car or wait till next service and reset it then. I chose the latter.
