Default Rear spoiler manual button problem

I have a 2015 f type r coupe. I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with rear spoiler not going up when pushing button. It works perfect at the 60mph or 70 on its own. It will not raise when button is pushed. Am I missing something here?

In the coupe, only for cleaning. On the front top, you can deploy it while driving.

"Safety" issue, I think. The spoiler sticks out a few mm beyond the bumper when deployed, so it you had it up, it would impact first.

Spoiler goes up at 70 and back down at 50. Ignition must be on - without starting it - in order to activate the spoiler for cleaning purposes.

You must also press and hold the button...

And to reconfirm, that button only works if the car is at a dead stop. The spoiler will go down again as the car starts to move. (all this applies too U.S. models only)

In case any Brits are reading this thread, it is worth noting that with UK spec 2015 MY coupes the spoiler can be manually deployed at any speed below the 70mph automatic deployment. A single press will deploy it, and a single press longer than 1 second will retract it.

I have no idea why different markets would have different settings. Presumably it is a regulatory requirement of some kind, but why?

I'm fairly certain Ive mentioned this before - but maybe not on this forum: on mine I can power the wing up and down while driving, provided that it hasn't automatically raised itself.

UK model though.
