Rear wing
Hi, I’m looking at an F Type S coupe which has a fixed rear wing as part of an “exterior sport design pack”. As far as I can tell these were dealer fitted? If so presumably the original active rear wing mechanicals/operation would still be there but disabled. I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove the fixed wing and reinstall an original active wing. I think the fixed wing spoils the lovely line of the car.
You have a factory wing, your best bet is to see if you can find someone to trade with you. I would if you were close to me, but mine is black, so we would both need to repaint.
Looks like you might be in Europe, so you could always check E-bay.

That particular F-Type has been up on CarSales AU for several years now, at least four years, waaaay longer than any other F-Type I have ever seen.
Most times it has been by far the most expensive used S as well, seeing as it has only 5,150 km on the clock.
It's a private seller who has gradually dropped the asking price and by now might be getting a little desperate to sell, so maybe you can make him/her an offer and leave enough to spare to get the rear spoiler changed over??

That's the Sport Design fixed spoiler. I installed one myself, so can speak to the underpinnings.
The deployable rear spoiler comes off, complete with the motor and linkage. Replacing it is a magic box that tells the system that the deployable spoiler is working properly, and the fixed spoiler finishes the installation. There are different switches next to the shifter as well.
If it was ordered from the factory, I suppose it's possible that the car's configuration file is not looking for a deployable spoiler and the magic box isn't needed.
