Default Recommendations for Jaguar Repair shops in the Northern Virginia Area

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. Please direct me to the correct place if so.

Are there any reputable Jaguar repair shops in the DC Northern Virginia area that any users here would recommend? I have a 2016 and hate taking It to the Chantilly or Tysons location... but seem to always give me a load of BS that I've verified through research or from other users on this forum (thanks).

I took my car to Topline Jaguar in Springfield but they primarily deal with older jags so I feel like I'm a guinea pig for them with an F type. They also don't seem to have the business management end of things down. I've called some other places that specialize in European cars but they seem to be to busy to call me back after several attempts.

I'm a pretty nice and patient person and never had a problem finding a good MB repair shop but can't seem to find a reputable place that can work on jags.

it’s not NOVA, but I take mine to Abacus Racing in Virginia Beach. They specialize in Jaguar. I like them and trust them.

Your choices in the area are limited unless your willing to take it to Hunt Valley Jaguar or to the Indy shop up the street from that dealer Hunt Valley Eurocar. It would be closer to you than Norfolk. Unhinged may have another good one on his MD side of the river near Silver Spring or Rockville.

Thanks. There's a guitar shop I like to hit every once and while in that area, I may try to stop by there and chat with them before getting work done.

I think Unhinged recommended the jag dealership in Columbia, MD. I'm looking to avoid dealer prices but when it comes down to it, I'll pay the price if they're an honest shop. The Columbia dealership might be my first stop on the way up to Hunt Valley.

The dealership that Unhinged refers to is Jaguar of West Columbia which is actually in Clarksville, MD. Tom Matthews and his daughter, Ashley, are the two service managers and both are very good. I've had nothing but stellar service from them. There's also Mid-Atlantic Rovers in Columbia, MD (https://midatlanticrovers.com/). I haven't used them since my car is still under warranty, but my friend swears by them.

Jag West Columbia are indeed tops. They went to great lengths to make certain that an engine replacement cost me nothing by working with the extended warranty company. Give them a few days notice and they'll have a loaner lined up for you. The mechanic that is used exclusively on F-Types actually knows more about their idiosyncracies than I do. The NoVa dealer shops are useless.

Greatly appreciate the recommendations. With the weather heating up, I just realized my AC needs a recharge. I will be calling the West Columbia dealership and will ask for Tom or Ashley.

This forum has been so helpful and thank you for your contribution.
