I found this on another car site. Ferrari is including this with their cars now.

It's called a Magcode power clip. It is a magnetic clip that connects easily and if you forget to remove will just pop off as you drive away.

Well, I'll be honest, I've driven off twice and my wife once with the thing still plugged in. But I will say my wife travelled over three miles before realizing it, at least I heard it as I got out of the garage!

Now that I have ratted us both out, this is a very clever idea, I like it a lot. Thanks Zach!
