Default Removing the Leaper

I remember someone recently removed the leaper and had the holes filled, but I can't find the thread. If you're reading this, please direct me to your thread.

That'd be me.

Simply remove it as you'd with other badges(fish line). My guy mentioned the material is fiber glass and they'd plastic weld it. Pretty sure bondo was also used.

Painting it is straight forward. I was able to see a faint shadow of the holes from certain angle under sun light, fortunately it went away in a few days.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm having some scuffs taken off the rear bumper and debating going full stealth. I wanted to get another look at your car, first.

I'm in! I'm going full delete.

I'm not convinced the spoiler cover (where the leaper is mounted) is fibreglass, I took that cover off when I disabled the spoiler some four years ago now and it sure felt and sounded like alu to me. Of course I could be wrong and not for the first time!

Pretty sure i read somewhere the side sill and rear spoiler are fiber glass, including the two triangular pieces above it, bumpers are plastic, and everything else are aluminum.
