Default Replacing just front tires?

I wanted to verify it’s okay to just replace my front tires. I have PSS all around, but my front inners are on cords. Rears look great. Will replace with identical tires.

Are you RWD or AWD?

Some AWD systems will have issues if the overall diameters front to back are not within a certain percentage of variance.

Absolutely on RWD! though with AWD they may be too far out of spec vs. the rear.

BTW, how have you liked the PSS? our 2016 came with newly installed Toyo Extensa HP as part of the CPO and they suck, don't stick at all compared to my PSS on my n54. i can't wait till they wear out enough to justify replacing!

Agree, no problem. Have done it myself; replacing just the front or rear as needed.

Tread depth difference won’t cause enough difference in the tire circumference to create any AWD issues.

Most tech articles and vehicle manufacturers of AWD vehicles disagree with you. I don't know enough about the F-Type AWD system to have an opinion. The rule of thumb in most cases is the penny test. If the circumference difference is greater than the thickness of a penny, it's too great for most AWD systems to operate safely.

Unless u drive at 100% limits 100% of the time, should be no problems...

I've done it numerous times on my C5 & C7 Vettes for past 16 yrs with no issues.
