DO NOT operate SDD with the battery icon yellow!
You are headed for giant problems. Please read some more and get a proper DC voltage supply. Note this is NOT a battery charger!
Attached is what Jaguar published for the requirements. It's critical to have a clean output and understand what ripple is. If what your using does not have a current and ripple rating then it's not what you want. While you don't need to use the exact brand Jaguar recommended for the dealerships take care to get one that has the correct spec's.
From the attached document;
You have 2 red X's. This means SDD can't read those modules. That needs to be fixed before you proceed. What you want is all green X's and questions marks. Also notice that you have trouble codes in 5 modules. That's the small i's.
Again this needs to be fixed so find out what the codes are.
Next notice the bold statement about updating SDD? The software if not updated will stop working as that states. So depending on how you have SDD installed work on getting it updated so that nag message goes away.
I think your a long ways from modifying the car and I would concentrate on fixing what is indicated first.

Please don't ignore the DC power supply requirements!
I have measured over 30 Amp draw for several hours when using SDD. It does so much stuff that we don't even know about. We have to remember this was not released to the public and we have little to no actual information on how to use it. We do have some very experienced users and even a few real JLR tech's that have supplied a bunch of information.
I use a 55 Amp Iota DC power supply. These are all over EBay and I got a used one for around $100 several years ago.
The PCM can't be read (red X on PCM) so I don't see how you can get codes? Work on getting the basics right first. This could be influenced by the lack of updates too.
Again the ripple measurement is key so the modules have a constant regulated and clean power to them BEFORE you try to reprogram anything.

I haven’t found an power supply below the €800 which ticks all requirements. So Having it done is perhaps more economical. But I keep looking, one of the part of the car hobby for me is learning how to do things and be proud when I’ve done it.
Thank you for helping/warning me. I studied the subject and it is a critical point.
DMeister your not wrong! I use my other scanners when I can as using SDD feels like a crap shoot sometimes! But I can't find anything (yet) that can get as deep into the car.
Adam that seems very expensive but your not in the US so I don't know.
On EBay there are a number of new and used units like I have. Used ones around $100 so not too steep. IOTA DLS-55 DC Power Supplies
Can you post the spec's of the one your looking at? The brand is not critical as long as the power supply meets the requirements.
I am with you on learning to DIY as it will save you a ton of money.
Oh I forgot but can you update your SDD installation? I find for my setup that spending time downloading all the update files is the only way to get rid of the update nag. But others have changed the date back to 2012 and fooled the system to stop asking to be updated. It's kind of silly too because as someone pointed out Jaguar stopped updating anything for these older cars years ago. So there are no updates but unless you check the software still thinks you need to update.

Yeah, probably not a bad approach. Only go there when you absolutely feel you need to etc...No doubt you could get yourself in one mess. Dealers probably do too some times, but then they have Jaguar support to help them out.
I figure if I need that level of depth I'm probably out of my depth at that point. I will do basic stuff like oil changes and brake changes and fluid changes generally and the like. But beyond that it will be a trusted independent.
The Iota DSL can be a good option for me, it will not be the first thing I buy from the US. But it can’t be converted to 240V. There is a Ioto DSL for 240V but I have not found it for sale.
So then I need a step down converter (about €80). So that would be an option.
Or…. will this hurt the ripple and noise? Probably.
There are a lot of quality transformers in the EU, but they are all very pricy.
