Default Seat Belt Guides

Is it possible to mount the Seat Belt Guides (straps) on seats that did not come equipped with them?

Anything is possible with enough time, money and know-how.
The existing guides (those on the Performance seats) consist of a strap with a clasp at one end, and the other end of the strap and the clasp base are both built into the seat. It would be possible I suppose to build in those mounts to a "base" seat (AKA Sports seat) but it would not be easy or cheap.
And then you would need to obtain the straps (and mounts) which I would bet a year's pay are not available separately to the seats, except maybe at a wrecker's yard.
Also, as I and many others have discovered, those straps do not do a great job of locating the seat belt in a comfortable spot, they usually allow the belt to ride up too high and rub on your neck. I have tied a strip of red Velcro across the middle of the strap to stop it from riding up, waaaay better.
Here's a pic of my first attempt using a large black zip tie, which I later replaced with strip of Velcro as I was worried about the damage the zip tie might do:

Thanks. Definitely not worth the hassle especially if it causes the seat belt to reside in an uncomfortable position..

I have a 2017 F type S with performance seats. It has the two piece guide with a strap on top that snaps to the hook on the bottom.
Almost every time I get in and pull the belt to tighten it the belt jams between the strap and lower hook.

Same guide but this is what happens to mine. Now that I viewed pix on a bigger screen I can see they are all the same design. Two picks attached the first is how it should work and the second stuck one is how it does work for me.
I don't want to hijack this thread but I wanted to show this contributor my problem also. Maybe it is just me.

There is a fin on the underside of the strap that is intended to prevent what you are experiencing. On mine, it would be virtually impossible to catch the belt between the strap and the top of that "hook". It looks like your strap is no longer laying firmly on the hook, allowing the belt to slide into the wrong place. Try unsnapping the strap and bending it sharply just below the fin before re-snapping. Maybe that will sort out the issue.

Exact same thing happens to me. A quick pull up on the belt unjams it.
