Default Service schedule flex

My new F-Type has an official in-service date of Jan 31.
It was not registered or driven until March 10, because in Massachusetts the weather was not warm enough to drive the vehicle with the OEM (P-Zero) tires.
The car has the 60 month warranty with free service during that period.
According to my local dealer, the first (free) service must be performed between one month before or after the in-service date (Jan 31).

So, the conundrum is that most likely the car will be off the road during the required service interval.
While i realize the car will likely have only 6K miles, I would definitely like to get the free oil/filter.
at around the 12 month mark, then have the option of getting subsequent services done when the car is not in Winter hibernation.
I also want to maintain a JLR approved maintenance schedule to avoid any possible future warranty issues.
Just to be clear, I am not looking to change the in-service date as it relates to the 60 month warranty.

Does anybody have any experience getting waivers from JLR on the schedule?
It would be great if they would recognize the actual first use date rather than the official in-service date.
Is there some way to get an official opinion/waiver from JLR?. Any idea who to contact?

For the first service, you don't want to wait full service interval. Do an oil change right after break-in period finished. Pay out of pocket if you must.

JLR will not do a waiver or an extension. If the dealer tried submitting, JLR's warranty system will kick it right back to the dealer.

Your dealer MAY at their discretion provide the service and eat the costs out of pocket as a customer service gesture.

This is my experience with my dealer, will never be back and will be taking my business elsewhere
