Default SF Bay Area F-Type Meetup/Drive?

Who of this esteem group would be interested in meeting up and taking advantage of the gorgeous roads of the area as a group? Let's see what sort of interest there is and we'll put something together before the end of summer.

Jagged, we may have to drive up in your neck of the woods and head out Lucas Valley to Pt. Reyes... so many choices! Glad to see interest is growing!

Heading to SF and Napa in August. Wish I could have my car but it's just too far to drive. Anyone know what the best option for renting a V8 convertible would be?

Turo.com
Several F-Types there, although don't specify V6/V8 unless you click through. Some of those prices (and people ) are pretty high.
A Kia Forte for $160/day?? Maybe that one is a mistake.... And the person is wondering why they don't have any hits...

Oh yeah, visited some friends in Sebastopol a while back, traffic was so jacked that I took the back way starting in Novato and it still too the same amount of time! But a waaaay better drive! I have some friends in west Marin too, so driving out Sir Francis Drake to the coast would be fun too.

A drive up Sir Francis Drake would be awesome with the hopes of no soccer moms, mini vans, Corollas, and beat up Toyota trucks. Meeting places would be hard to set. A couple months ago (?) there was an informal meet of about a dozen Vipers at a hot dog stand in Bodega Bay. Its a bit further but the views are serene and the hot dogs are really good!

I appreciate the lead. Never heard of this company. Skeptical about my liability when renting because it doesn't seem like Amex would cover the insurance like it normally does from a national chain. Thoughts?

It's like airbnb for cars, people rent out their personal vehicles. Good point about the insurance, not sure. They do offer their own, minimal insurance is about $8-10/day, decent is more.
Oh yeah, also, the price is really 10% more than it states, because the company adds in a fee...

Enterprise has a high-end division. When my F-Type was in the shop I investigated. The monthly rate on an F-Type was about $4500 but for a few days it might be within your vacation budget. I won't presume either way for you.
