Simple mods, fun mods, minor mods or updates?
They are indeed hard to see (and working perfectly).
Not for long. Can’t wait for the wrap to go on the quad pipe valance so I can install it. The car looks silly with 4 parking sensors dragging behind it.

Not sure what is a simple, but upgraded all door speakers and the coaxial in the center dash. Replaced all xpel film with suntek (full front and rockers, mirrors) and new ceramic coat over all areas, including wheels.
I'm looking at taking the front 'Growler' off my grill to do some modifications. I have read that it is not too difficult, just glued. Can someone give a bit of advice before I start a screw up on my still new to me '17.
Thx.
Thx.
What is the cross bar?
I've done:
Pzero to PS4S
Gloss black to Satin wheels (SVR forged)
Black growler wheel centres, changed from red
Black growler front badge, changed from red.
RS30 lipo battery and tyre gunk removed (25kg reduction)
Wortec 2PC suncut rotors (21.5kg unsprung saved)
Also looking for ways to reduce weight and future mods:
- More SC noise
- Try to reduce IAT's or charge temps, maybe link to AC
- SC Pulley or Crank pulley and tune
- Maybe 200 cel cats

Just use a soft pry tool between the chrome portion and the black rib surrounding the badge. It is simply attached with a low adhesive backing. No point in doing it though, unless you are replacing it with a different emblem, as the backing seat is molded right into the grille.
The term "crossbar" on the F-Type is synonymous with "front bumper".

There is indeed a steel cross member behind the grille, but we're referring to the gloss plastic bar that ties the upper and lower grilles together. That is a very substantial bit of plastic weighing over 3 lbs.
There is no longer a crossbar on unhinged's car. See photo of front grille in post #33 by FR500GT. A Jaguar project 7 does not have one. All other f types do, unless modified like Unhinged did.
Is the crossbar an NHTSA requirement (not questioning removal... Looks great). But why is it "there", from a design perspective?🤔

The actual crossbar/impact bar is still there but the outer plastic cover and foam get pulled:
