Project 7 Grill Installed
Quite possibly the best mod for the F-Type is the Project 7 Grill Delete. Sourcing one is 90% of the battle and I am not going to go into too much detail other than saying that an original P7 VIN is required and A LOT of patience with finding a dealership or online Jag dealer to accept it. The grill surround came in white from Jaguar so I had it wrapped in gloss black to match the rest of the car. As far as the install goes, its pretty straight forward on my car since it's a base model it doesn't have parking sensors to reposition. The first thing is unbolting the under trays then dropping the front bumper. Separate the factory grill from the bumper and simply replace the it with the P7 grill. The impact foam needs to be removed and the exposed silver bumper bar we wrapped in a matte black to hide/blend in the background. Everything is bolt in bolt off with the exception of a small tab on the bumper needing to be trimming (hidden behind the grill). At this time I also swapped in the black Jag emblem and wrapped the front lip while everything was apart.

I wish I was able to get an overhead shot of the car with all of the aftermarket parts around it at. It would have been pretty cool to see how naked the car looks with all of the stock parts pulled off waiting for the mods to go on at once. Oh well, I'm trying my best here! Hopefully this thread is informative and is encouraging people to mod their F Type's..if not, at least I have documentation of everything done to my car lol.
