Default Single wiper swipe on startup

Hi, Car has been doing single wiper swipe on cold mornings (11deg celcius here in Oz) on several early morning starts. Doesnt happen at any other time. Car is parked in a carport and it has not been raining so presumably maybe dew triggering but nothing on the windscreen that i can see or feel. Not really worried by it but would be interested to see if this happens to others

Never happened to me even when parked outside SWMBO's joint in the middle of winter and the glass is covered in frost in the early morning.
Also I reckon it can only happen if your wiper setting is on "intermittent" (first notch up) - JLR call it "rain sensor mode" - rather than "off".

my 2018 R does this maybe one time out of 50. i never touch the settings and i always park in a garage. i haven't had any other issues with the car so i just chalk it up to an homage to the electrics of Jaguars past...

Mine randomly does it also, I think I slightly touch the control or it is getting a little loose.

I just cleaned the glass sensor area before starting up today and it didn't happen. I guess it is possible some road grime/oil may trigger the sensor so ONE swipe must mean CLEAN ME in jagspeak.
