Default So many problems..

Hey guys, Recetly i've been having lots of problems come up with my car.

First problem is that when I press the brake pedal you can hear squeeking coming from the front of the car, doesn't matter if the car is stopped or not. the squeeking is repetitive every time.

Second problem is that whenever I'm driving the car and it passes a certain speed I hear a squeek noise from the front left, the noise is like a bird chirping. It happens at around 20 kms, 40km and 50km speed, it also happens when i'm slowing down, that noise is constant and never goes away. its been getting louder too.

Third problem is that at around 1500rpm the exhaust sounds like a tin can rattling. ONLY around 1500rpm, any gear but not in neutral.

Very weird stuff, I have an apt. scheduled with the dealer.

Just getting ideas of what these things could be!

squeeking from front occurring as you describe could be a wheel bearing or damaged/ worn/dry suspension joint

If you have an older F-Type, annoying rattling sound at 1500RPM is the active exhaust vacuum pump running. Sounds like a hear shield vibration to me. It annoyed me so much, along with squeaking active exhaust valves, that I pulled fuse F43. Pump no longer runs, and valves are always open, making it pretty loud.

Not AWD myself,so no expert, but bird chirping noise while moving, can be an indicator of a bad CV joint. built many lifted vehicles, very familiar noise. Only thing is i don't think that's a very common failure with the JLR stuff. Good Luck! let us know what they find. warranty?

+1. Could also be one of the muffler valve flappers is loose. That would require a full muffler replacement.

I had similar noises coming from the front. Ended up being a bad supercharger bearing and a bad water pump. Goth both replaced under warranty.
