Default Many lights many faults

When my battery left me, i tried for a quik charge to go to my work, but as the engine was'nt start i tried with the <<start>> in the charger. BIG mistake
from that moment a lot of lights flash in the instument panel and the tachymetr is not showing the speed of the car. The ligths are, parking brake
( in screen parking brake fault) abs ligth ( abs fault , cats fault) dsc not working etc. In the jags service when i went , they told me that they cant comunicate with CAN BUS in the instrument panel and they expecting a code from jag to searcing for a solution, but i have to leave the car there for two to three days$$$$$$. Please for help. Mike

Phantom codes to start with. A bunch of them can easily be meaningless, and need to be cleared out. They may never return, this is common in the CATS system, and the ABS. The park brake fault can cause a code in the ABS system, the system needs to be reprogrammed after losing battery power. Best to try and clear the codes, and see what returns. If you can't clear the codes, you have to go one by one, trying to eliminate the problems in each system.

With a working battery it may well be OK.

Decide if you can / want to DIY. I'd get a Mongoose JLR and check which modules can be seen / are missing then go hunting for a module or wiring fault. Without the tool it'll be hard but possible - consult electrical guide in JTIS (free download on here).

If you'd mentioned new battery I could've replied with this a day sooner...

I bought a jlr mongoose v130 but the files in the dvd was corrupt, so i can't use it yet, but i made a several pinpoint tests and in the last i found accordig to the tests that the resistant in the diagnostic connector between nr. 6 and nr. 14 is 61 oms. in this case the jtis says that i have to chance the abs/dsc module and i am ready to do it. Thank you ,i 'ii keep you inform.

What is wrong with that 60-ish ohms? CAN has 2 120-ohm terminators in parallel, i.e. 60 ohms. 61 is good enough.

The V130 files may be linked on the UK forum - long thread under XJ or somewhere similar.

The jtis write that, if the resistant between the above nrs. in the diagnostic connector is 50 to 70 oms , i have to replace the abs/dsc module .

I think you're either misunderstanding or abbreviating to the point of non-communication.

I changed abs/dsc module today , the only think i've got is that the electronic parking is now working, the abs fault , cats system fault and dsc is not available in screen remain.
