So much less burbles and pops and crackles
That was the beauty of it…turn a button on and you have a monster popping and burbling and then switch it off and you have Jaaag refinement! Don’t take away the monster! Im afraid the fuse removal will/may have repercussions down the line?! How hard can it be to reverse the software..I’m hoping Jag will be willing to put the patch on for me…
had a 2024 V8 with 450 miles on the clock under consideration
What a disappointment to drive.
My P300 with the Ragazzon has more "FUN" sounds
It was suggested that I should just get a tune.
Well then, bye bye warranty
Keeping the P300 for now
BEST !

Arrange another test drive and remove fuse 15.
I opened the exhaust valve during my test drive.
Questions:
BEST !

Questions:
- does this not provide the same result?
- isn't the 2024 model set up differently than the older versions regarding the exhaust note and fuse #15?
- If applicable, where would I find fuse #15 on the 2024 model?
BEST !

What concern do you have with removing the fuse, which only controls the opening of the valves? There is nothing to impact other than the noise level. If anything, it would save wear on the valves, I would think.
For someone with zero knowledge on the VAP subject, can someone enlighten a noob as to what VAP is and also provide a link to thier contact info? My 2018 F type R is coming in within the next 10 or so days and I fear that I'll have to deal with this or that removal of the filter/vacuum? that stops the beloved pops and crackles that made me love my old 2017 S so much.
Thank you
Thank you
I have been running without the fuse for several months. The car sounds great.
In fact, while clearly subjective, my sense is that the sound actually got better over that period.
The exhaust is definitely more throaty. It does pop on start-up, probably 50% of the time.
It seldom pops when underway - perhaps because I am too sedate a driver!! I only act the hooligan once in a while!!
I think one risk of leaving the valves open permanently is that they may stick in that position and not respond if the fuse is inserted.
My car is going in for its annual service in a couple of weeks, so I will test this by re-inserting the fuse for a few days.
