Default soft top won't open 14 Ftype V8S

Adding to the list of Jag owners whose top won't open. 2014, 12,500 miles on it. Passenger side motor won't unlatch. Windows come down, drivers side motor releases, passenger side remains stuck. Car is on a CTek charger. Disconnected the battery to see if it would reset but no luck. As indicated by other owners with this issue, no warning prior to failure, top never had any issue going up or down. Only issue ever with this vehicle thus far. Dream car otherwise.

If you (or a passenger) gives it a NUDGE when you work the switch, will it release? Perhaps it only needs a drop of oil.

EDIT: If the Nudge releases that side, the rubber seal could be sticky.

My Ftype convertable roof is in slave mode. It opens only about 5cm, then stops, then when I press the button again, it opens another 5cm and stops, this repeated process is required to get the roof all the way down, then at the end, the x2 side flaps that normally complete the process by folding in flat, that part doesnt happen at all, they both remain, in the upright position. What I do notice while repeatadly pressing the button is that both motors are not pulling down at exactly same speed, one motor pulls more than the other causing resistance then this resistance causes sensors to signal stop. Now to close the roof, both motors work perfectly in unison and the roof goes all the way up and stops just before latching, then press again and it completes cycle and latches. If motors were an issue, it would not work closing in almost one motion? Jaguar constantia branch picked up no fault codes on any motors or sensors. A friend of mine who used to work at jag for x20 years, plugged in his diagnostics and it registered communication faults. We disconnected battery and that process never helped. Can anyone advise if they had similar issue and how was it resolved? Calibration at Jag dealership didnt work, going to try another private specialist who claims that Jaguar dealership in question dont know how to calibrate as its a rare fault? Please advise further?
