Default Spoiler stuck in closed position

Yes, the spoiler is stuck in the closed position. The removal options I've been directed to all start with 'Raise the Spoiler'. I can't since it is stuck in the closed/lowered position. I have checked the fuse and it is good. I have also tried pushing the button on the console. That also does not work. I get the "unavailable" message on the dash.
I've googled it with nothing showing up except removal of fixed wing spoilers on coupes. That doesn't do me any good since I have neither of those.
Does anyone know of a procedure for removal of a spoiler stuck in the closed/lowered position? Or maybe a way of physically, not electrically, raising the spoiler?

Here’s a link to the workshop manual. It has a lot of spoiler info, but I didn’t look to see if it addresses your issue. Hint: the PDF table of contents is your friend, and is very helpful for finding things, as is the PDF search function.

I have already been through that PDF trying to find some information about the spoiler. Supposedly you need to look in 501-03. I went through every page of the 501-XX and didn't see anything about it.

I can appreciate how frustrating this must be.

I was curious so I too looked around with a little googling. Yeah, not a lot of direct info popping up. You would think that there would be others out there complaining about such a dilemma, but I don’t see anything either. Surely you are not the first to be in this situation.

Most Jag owners likely just take it to the dealer. You have warranty?

Okay, I see you have a 2014. Can’t see ya having warranty.
