Default SRS module repair/reset

Does anyone know of a place in the states that can repair/reset an SRS module?

I have a 2016 F Type base and do remember reading somewhere here that the early years needed some sort of special tool.

Two of the populate vendors on the web already tried and couldn’t reset it…came back with saying “software or firmware issues”

TIA!

Did you ever find someone who does this? I used to use a guy in Dallas but evidently he is no longer in the business. You are correct that most nationally known reset companies do not have the capability to do a hard reset on these.

nope, I did not. Even tried a third place in norther California and they couldn’t either.

I ended up buying a new module for approx. $590 and had a guy remotely build the restraints. Then I calibrated it through SDS.

supposedly there are many places in the UK who can do the reset. Check out chris slix channel on YouTube…he did an SVR build. I just didn’t want to ship it there and back. The prices were reasonable compared to new.

I did find two places that perform them on Jags.

1. Airbag Systems, of Anna, TX
2. My Airbags of Buford, GA

Both have the elusive software.
