Default Steering wheel buttons - change radio memory instead of frequency

If I press "back"/"forward" on my steering wheel, the radio will scan to the next station. I wish it would shuffle between 1-6 radio presets in the memory, as I had in literally every car before. I have to touch the screen which is a bit annoying, since I shuffle a lot.
Can this be set anywhere please?
Thanks

I have a 2018 R (with the older style Infotainment system), and when I press my forward/back button on my steering wheel, my radio will change to my next preset station from radio memory. There must be an option for those buttons to either scan or seek the next preset, I'm just not sure how to change the option.

After checking the owners manual, it is recommended to press and hold one of the two icons placed on each side of the radio station listed (see icons 5 and 8 in the picture). After holding one of these icons (one seeks up, the other seeks down) for a couple of seconds, try the steering wheel buttons to confirm radio is now set to seeking preset channels.

So sorry to have sent information that didn't work - I may have misinterpreted the extremely vague digital owner's manual from Jaguar. After seeing your last post, I went into the sub-menus of my radio system to see if I could figure out how the seek/scan feature worked .... but came up empty. I did discover that this infotainment system does a heck of a lot of things I didn't know it could do, as well as a lot of things I just don't understand. I'll keep playing around with it and see if I can come up with an answer for you. If I do find a solution, I'll post back.

The 2018 manual picture a couple of posts up looks different than what my 2016 has. The button on my steering wheel steps through presets when on satellite radio and through songs when I'm listening to a USB stick. I'm not sure what they do for AM/FM radio but I'll try to make some time tomorrow to find out. I honestly can't remember the last time I listened to broadcast radio in the car.

For AM and FM, the buttons do step through presets also. I poked around in the settings and did not find anywhere to change that, but will admit my search was not exhaustive.
