Default Storm vs Stratus Grey

So, I am finally looking into getting my first f-type.

Question: When was storm grey introduced?

Were both storm and stratus grey available in 2016?

Thank you!

I was just looking at a 2016 model that I was told was Stratus --

Did the Storm immediately replace Stratus?

I'll try to remember to whip out my brochures tonight - I have all of them except for 2015MY.

Stratus and Storm are both great colors, as is the newer Ammonite.

Yes, Storm replaced Stratus for 2016. I agonized over Storm vs. Ammonite when I placed the order for my car because I had seen neither in person. In the end, it was a coin toss. Stratus is quite a dark grey, almost black, but picks up color from the surroundings, e.g. parked next to a hedge at home it appears to have a greenish tint to it that isn't really there.

+1. Storm replaced Stratus during MY2016. According to the 2016 brochure, Stratus was available until May 2015 and Storm available from June 2015.

This is true, but '15 in the U.K. is '16 in the U.S.

Stratus was produced in the early '16 MY but was not available from mid-year on. I owned a '15 in Stratus and now have a '16 in the replacement Storm. Both are great colors. Stratus is close to black while Storm is very mirror like and reflective of its environment. It can look several different shades.

Thank you all!

Tough choice (good problem to have, not complaining!) ---

Now Im even thinking the contrast with the ammonite and black wheels looks sharp. And the ammonite I may not have to clean as often.
