A stupid question
Hello all,
I'm trying to install an oil catch can onto my V6 F-type, but I cannot figure out how to disconnect the pipe from the throttle body to the valve.
Please help.

Done it.
Since our engines are direct injection, fumes and oil mist are redirected back into the engine for burning a second time. This is bound to leave residue on the back of the inlet valves. Never a good thing as it obstructs the air going through the valve.
My guess and with all due respect, what you have seen, might not be direct injection engines but port injected.

FYI, The Rock had a great install write up, as usual…

Are you installing the catch can out of precaution or have you been able to verify actual build up on the valves?
