Default Subwoofer feed behind seats

Hi all, behind the seats in my base model stereo (2015 V6S) I have the frame for a subwoofer and a mid range speaker. Only the midrange speaker is installed, the sub woofer is not installed. The connector has two wires out (to the mid range speaker), but 6 wires going in. I presume that 2 of the 4 remaining are for the feed to the subwoofers (if installed). Does anyone know if this is correct, which wires they are? and if they can be used to put into a line out converter, so I can amplify them for a sub enclosure?

thanks

The 4 wires are for a dual voice coil subwoofer ie a positive and neg for each voice coil. If you have the base 180 w system, your amplifier will not have any Channel on the end of those spare wires so no point taking a feed of them. In any case even if they did you wouldn’t take a feed off them. You should instead take a feed off the door woofers

It’s strange as I’m reading voltage across multiple pins in the connector when the radio is playing…..

Looks like I’m wrong about the 180w amp then but rest of the info still applies
