I can’t imagine that would be an easy thing to do, nor advisable. Probably cost an absolute fortune too.
Why. looks like it is pretty straight forward?
Remove headliner and unbolt roof panel and then bolt glass roof in, I have seen people posting about swapping panoramic for carbon fiber.

I thought it was bonded in place, not bolted, and you're need the proper headliner with the sliding shade. Other than that, I *think* it's doable.

Lizzardo,Thanks, saw glass for sale on ebay and it is bonded, the frame is for the shade screen.
And thanks for the headliner news, I did not know they had one.
Lizzardo, I believe it is bonded to a frame and bolted in like the roof panel is. But, that is my gut feeling from looking at the parts diagrams I have seen.

That would make it an easier swap, I think. You'd still need the headliner parts, including the shade, and you'd want them to match what you've got. I've got "suedecloth upper" for example. I've picked up some parts from a big salvage company in Florida, so think you should be able to source the parts without too much trouble. If you need it RIGHT NOW then perhaps you'd have more difficulty.
EDIT:
Yes, there is a headliner. It's an outer border with a sliding shade to close off the sun when desired. I find I often do desire it, based on the angle of the sun.
MOAR EDIT:
I can get some pics if you'd like, but your parts diagram research will probably be more helpful.

Shoot over a VIN for same year with pano and I can tell you what parts you would need.
Here's one disassembled from Facebook. You'll need the glass, the frame, the correct headliner and sunshade. There's some alignment clips as well, but it's pretty straightfoward. ToPix calls for removal of the hatch to do it, but as you can see in the photo, no need as I can tell.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. I thought there would have been more of a difference having structural considerations and what not, but apparently not.
I still stand by the idea of it costing a small fortune though ;-o These are JLR parts after all…Unless ya went the junkyard route, which I suppose ya could…

Parts are high, I think the roof panel is around $3k wholesale (replacing mine next week, stone chip), and then the headliner won't be cheap either, just like all the other trimmed interior parts. I bet a full swap if using OEM, even with a JLR wholesale account, would be around $7k prior to labor. The junkyard/eBay route would be WAAAYYYYY cheaper.

Where did it chip? Right on the front edge?
What a pain. I was wondering at one point about looking into protection of some kind. Not sure if there is much out there. I asked my PPF guy about it when he was doing his work, but he didn’t have much to offer. He wouldn’t put PPF there.
Awesome, I do think the pano roof is nicer, though over here I have to keep the blind closed all summer.
Now while you have it disassembled I'd took to make sure the bind retracts well as a lot of them get stuck fully closed and apparently it is a PITA to fix. My work around is to leave it open about an inch then push it closed before pulling it back, which seems to loosen it. Personally I'd look to get the retracting tensioner (whatever) replaced.
I wanted to do the same but the other way - from pano to aluminum. Can be done, all info here, except that per information I got you need to disassemble windshield or side rear quarter window to get the headliner intact to the car. These are quite fragile.

No, you do NOT need to remove front windshield or remove hatch
My roof cracked due to a rock coming off a triaxle dump truck going in the opposite direction. I wanted to go aluminum as I only open the shade in the spring and fall, in the summer opening the shade makes the car hot a provides a good bit of glare on the dash and screen. It was way too expensive to change from the pano roof to aluminum. The company that changed the glass did a good job. The cost was almost $4000.00 US. My sunshade has alway stuck closed since I have owned the car. I have had it looked at while the car was under warranty and the dealer lubricated it with Graphite I was told. Was not long until it stuck again, so I just leave it ajar, still sticks a little. The company that changed the roof looked at the sunshade track while it was apart and said it was a design flaw in the materials used, nothing he could do with it.
