Hi I’m Nigel and have an F-Type 2017. In the heating & ventilation settings there is only one ‘seat’ in the middle, not two. There is also no sync /unsync button so we can’t separate driver and passenger heating/ventilation.
yes, I’ve read the manual and searched the forum. It’s point 5 on page 116. I don’t have a sync button.

It is an option, not standard on all vehicles. I understand that it can be activated, but don't recall the details. This subject was covered on this forum some time within the past year.

I didn’t know it was an option. It died t say that anywhere. I assumed it came as standard. Why wouldn’t it be?
I did search the forum for the subject but couldn’t find anything. Was that the verdict? Have you a link?
+1. Dual-Zone control was part of the Premium package (dual-zone, air quality sensor, Valet Mode, lockable dash cubby, wind protector (vert), heated seats/steering wheel). That package was not available on the 2017 base F-Type, optional on the S and standard on the R.
Interesting... our base '14 has all that stuff ('Premium Pack 1' option according to TOPiX).
For '17, you couldn't get that pkg on a Base?
Not according to the MY17 sales brochure. No mention of the Premium Pack or Dual-Zone climate controls (other than the dual zone coming as standard on the V8) in the MY'14-15 brochures. However, for MY'16, the Premium Pack was available on all V6 models as an option. It appears the Dual Zone was available as an option on the base F-Type all years prior to MY'17. Some of you have been around this forum long enough to remember the discussions that Jag, trying to reduce production costs, was cutting back on the options that could be ordered individually and forcing the purchase of Packs that included crap people didn't want. This was initiated during the MY'16-17 years.
