Default Tarox Corsa Brake Pads?

Does anyone have experience with Tarox Corsa brake pads? I saw a social media post from Swallows Racing in the UK recommending them for street/track use, but I haven't seen anyone mention them on this forum before. I'm looking for an alternative to the OEM pads that provide a good street/track compromise. The two Porterfield options are either too street-oriented and can't handle occasional track use (R4-S) or are too squeaky and require too much temperature to operate properly for street use(R4). The Tarox Corsa pads sound like they might be a good dual-duty option for occasional light track use.

The initial bite of 'performance' pads can be annoying. We have a rainwater mat on the floor of our garage, and the grabby OEM Jaguar brakes keep scrunching it up.

The Porterfield R4 and R4S are good pads, but the R4 won't stop on cold mornings.

On our other sportscars, we have used race-street pads from Mintex or Porterfield. The dust on those is severe tho'.

Mintex does produce brake pads compatible with various Jaguar F-Type models, most notably for configurations featuring 380mm front brake discs (part number MDB3376 is a common reference).

I always link this video when people ask about doing this procedure. Obviously tarox will have their own version of what they prefer you to do, but this has always worked for me.

I have the Tarox Corsa brake pads on my Alfa Romeo 4C. No experience with them on the F-Type. Keep in mind that I used to race cars (true races cars, not just track days with street cars) so my comments may be different than others.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the initial bite. I found it rather soft from an initial bite. I typically liked a very strong initial bite from a brake pad and the Tarox Corsa is not that. I did track my 4C with the pads and had no issues, but my tires were the limiting factor. They are a nice "drive around town" pad and I would say a casual track pad. If you are looking for a pad that will do track days more than once or twice a year, I'd look for something else (and also consider having a set for the "front" where you have a set for the track and for the street).
