Default TCU Fault

Had that happen today. Got in the car to move it maybe 20 ft. Engine revved but parking brake failed to disengage. I pressed the button and the brake disengaged and the car moved. I turned the car off and went in the building to go about my business. When I came out and tried to put the car in D, I got a TCU fault. Turned the car off a couple of times with no success. Fortunately, a buddy was there with a socket set. I pulled the positive lead off the battery and put it back on about 30 seconds later. The car worked fine after that.

Thoughts?

It's a phenomenon similar to Microsoft's blue screen of death. Just reboot.

But doesn't always happen, and not frequently when it does.

Yeah it's happen to me before. A battery disconnect fixes it.
