Default tire size F Type R

Thank you everyone for your input! I have been talking with Hennessey about putting in their 623 HP upgrade package....when I can find a black on black F Type!. They also sell some forged black rims. Interestingly when I spoke to them today the person was not sure whether a 315 would fit on the F type R. If I do go ahead I will come back to you all for some further input. Being a novice on forums I have to say this is really helpful.

For the love of god, do not go with Hennessey!!! How all of their corruption scandals haven’t put them out of business yet is beyond me... but you don’t want to get wrapped up in that. They don’t have much experience with the F-type platform anyways. You’re much better off with a company like VelocityAP or similar who frequents this forum.

Highly recommend you do not go that route. I too explored the Hennessy package and was impressed with the way it's marketed. 10K for an extra 70-80Hp not ridiculous when you look at M5 or 911 packages. Plus was going to be another 2k for round trip shipping to Texas. Then I checked the forum and the gentlemen above saved me a lot of money and likely a huge headache. You have dozens of owners with true experience with VAP and others. Proven trust and reliability. Any question I had Stewart at VAP answered including a shop to do the install relatively close. For less than 3k I did the VAP tune and crank pulley including dyno before and after. Yield advertised to be a 90Hp gain but I think mine was a bit more based on WHP of post install dyno.. A little bit of digging about Hennessy the person and no way you will want to do business with them.

Given that you are in Vancouver- even if Hennessy was honest, sending car to Texas is like trekking through a rain forest to find a urinal. Stuart is in your backyard.

Yep, agree with all above. In the tuner business, like many others, reputation is everything. This guy is a known thief, tells you what you want to hear and doesn’t come thru. Find another tuner or live with what you have or purchase a different car. The Hennessy choice is not an option.
