Default Traded a 2010 XKR coupe for a 2016 F type R vert

Yesterday I dropped off my 2010 XKR coupe, 41,000 miles red for a 2016 F type R, sapphire vert.CPO. One owner always serviced by Jaguar Palm Beach. Pictures to follow as well as my feelings about the change.

Just over a year ago I swapped my 25,500 mile Kyanite Blue 2010 XKR coupe for a Glacier White 1,300 mile MY18 V8 R AWD F-Type coupe and apart from the initial pangs of parting with such a lovely car, I've had no regrets whatsoever. Hope your experience matches mine!

Welcome, you will not be disappointed! I did the exact same thing in May trading in my 2010 XKR coupe with 40k mikes for my 2015 “R”. After seven vettes, CTS-V’s combined and the XKR.... the F-Type is my all time favorite!! I smile every minute I’m in it

Yeah, I forgot to mention that the enormous smile muscles I developed in the XKR were not enough for the F-Type - more conditioning necessary!

Gooday. I went from a '11 XKR coupe to a 16 F Type V6S. I really loved the XKR which was more convenient in a few ways to the F Type, but the F Type is heaps more fun to drive, you can really throw it around, and the steering, transmission, and tech is so much better. That said, I think it took me a month or so to be sure I made the right decision.

Alex, I wonder if you will notice the absence of cowl shake, that I did from my prior XK8, to the new F.

My 2010 XKR, fortunately, had no cowl shake.
