Default Transfer Case Fluid

Does anyone know the correct Jaguar part number for the transfer case fluid for a 2016 AWD F-Type R? I plan to change all of the fluids in September and this is the only one that is giving me some trouble. The manual specifies Shell TF-0870, but I cannot find that anywhere as a standalone product. An eBay or web search for the Shell TF-0870 brings up a bunch of BMW OEM Shell S-Tec TF-0870, which I'm fine using if that is in fact an interchangeable number for our transfer cases. Best I can tell the real Jaguar number is C2Z25586. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you!

I, for one, am a big proponent of not using the ridiculously overpriced "spec" fluid. At the end of the day, oil is oil, and the additives in that oil are not substantially different than the equivalent over the counter from that same brand. This transfer case is used by other brands, and they don't all require Jaguar certified fluid. It's not necessary.

+1. Agree that fluids need to have same specs, and DOES NOT need to come from Jaguar. Many components are shared by various carmakers. I have used this in my wife's Cayenne S, and it smoothed it out a amazingly. I will likely use in the FType as well. That Shell spec you listed would also be fine.Ravenol Transfer Case Fluid TF-0870

I wound up reaching out to S-Tec, the manufacturer of the F-Type transfer case (their part number is TC00511). The email I got back from them states that the factory fill oil is S-Tec OIL0005. It is the same oil used in a bunch of BMWs, Porsches, etc. A liter can be found online for $35 to $40 if anyone else wants to use OEM fluid at a way cheaper price than what they sell at the dealers.
