Default Trunk Lid Cover

I just bought a 2016 F-Type. It doesn't have a trunk lid cover. Is that optional? Is that what it's called? Can anyone help me with a link of where I can buy one? I've looked online, using various names: no luck. Thx

It's called the cargo cover, part # T2R22104PVJ.
Search eBay, eBay Motors etc and you will find a small number of listings.

VERY EXPENSIVE. Not an option, came standard on all coupes. Maybe the previous owner just forgot to provide it.

Perfect. Thx. Do you know if the cargo cover is standard equipment on the coupe? Anybody NOT have one of these?

If you buy a used one make sure it's got the two cord supports that attach it to the trunk lid - they're integral and can't be replaced independently. Guess how I know?

I would think that retrofitting new cords to a cargo cover would be fairly easy and esthetically pleasing.

Yeah, you would think that (I did, too!), but the dealer had to replace the whole cover under warranty - the cover had slipped off the pivots (known issue fixed by a couple of grommets) and jammed against the lid, and the cord pulled out when I forced it open.

They cause rattles and creaks which is maybe why the po took it out. I silenced mine by sticking small pieces of felt in each corner of the plastic shelfs either side of the trunk that the shelf rests on.

Interesting. When I get my replacement, I'll have to see.

The dealer was nice enough to attempt to contact the previous owner; and when they could get a response, they shipped a new one to me. That's some great service.

I have it installed, and it does make a minor "rattle". Can you please provide a photo of the felt fix. I can't quite tell what's making the noise.

Coupe vs. Sedan? Si? Are you even talking about an F-Type? If so, are you asking about the cargo cover?

You're all wrong.

It's a parcel shelf that hangs from the boot lid!

Jag-you-ares are British 😉

Then all nazelik’s questions can be answered in post #4 above.

In the colonies they sell Jaguires.
